My favorite NYC winebars are Other Room and Another Room- classic, easy standbys when you want quiet conversation, good (ie romantic) ambiance and delicious glass of wine. 8th st Wine Cellar also stands out for its great service. Wine bars are my FAVE (there aren't many in San Diego... or Cyprus, where I just came back from for that matter) — so I love that they're absolutely everywhere in NYC. Two faves of mine are 'inoteca in the LES and Grape and Grain in the East Village. I'll definitely be coming to you for recs! I’m super excited to try Xai Xai!
